The molecular structure of hydrogen peroxide is written H2O2, i.e. HOOH. This means that it contains hydrogen and oxygen atoms.
It is not flat, the hydrogen atoms cannot be explained in space but are placed one in front of the other.

- Hair is bleached or lightened with hydrogen peroxide. This is done by pouring a similar solution of hydrogen peroxide and water into a container, then moistening the fingers and touching them to the scalp. - Art restoration companies use hydrogen peroxide when old works are worn down by fading to white tones. This product is applied to create a chemical reaction that allows for faster recovery.
- It is used as a reagent of great importance in the manufacture of medicines and in dental bleaching.
